Richland Center, WI: Darin Gudgeon, Richland County Emergency Management Director, announced that Governor Walker is seeking aid from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for Richland County flood victims. Representatives will be conducting a preliminary damage assessment of the June flooding next week. The counties being assessed include Ashland, Crawford, Dane, Grant, Iowa, Richland, Sauk, St. Croix, and Vernon Counties.
Richland County flood victims are being urged to report any damage to their residential structure or home mechanicals. This can be done by contacting Richland County Emergency Management at (608) 647-8187 or completing the “Residential Detailed Damage Assessment” form found on the Richland County Emergency Management website at https://em.co.richland.wi.us/forms.
